Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Blobverse LLC ("Blobverse Studios," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you visit https://blobversestudios.com, create a Blobverse account, play our games, or contact us.

We keep this short on purpose: we collect as little as we can get away with.

Information you give us

Your email address. Blobverse accounts do not use passwords. When you sign in, you enter your email address and we send you a one-time code and sign-in link. We store your email address so we can recognize your account, send those sign-in messages, and reach you about your account (for example, a security notice or a change to these policies).

We do not ask for your name, phone number, mailing address, or date of birth beyond the age confirmation described below.

Your player tag. You choose a tag that identifies you in game. Your tag is visible to other players, so please do not use your real name, your email address, or anything else you would not want other players to see.

Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.

Information from playing our games

When you play, we store the game data tied to your account so your progress follows you between sessions and devices: save state, progress, unlocks, statistics, and settings. We also store technical information needed to run multiplayer matches and to keep the games working, such as a device or session identifier, app version, and error and crash information.

Information collected automatically on the website

This website is hosted and served through Cloudflare, which processes the basic technical information needed to deliver and protect it, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. Cloudflare also sets a security cookie to distinguish real visitors from automated traffic. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

We do not run advertising on this website, and we do not use third-party analytics or tracking cookies on it. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy and, where consent is required, ask for it first.

Purchases

There is nothing to buy right now. Blob Squad Arena is in beta and we do not sell anything or collect any payment information.

When the game launches, it will offer in-app purchases through Apple. Apple will process those payments, not us: we will never receive or store your card number or other payment details. We will update this policy before that changes.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • sign you in and keep your account secure;
  • save your game progress and sync it across your devices;
  • run multiplayer matches and matchmaking;
  • provide support when you contact us;
  • fix bugs, investigate crashes, and prevent cheating and abuse;
  • reply to your messages; and
  • meet legal obligations that apply to us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers who help us run the studio and our games, and only to the extent they need it:

  • Cloudflare hosts and protects our website and game services;
  • MXroute delivers our email, including your sign-in codes and links.

These providers are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us. If we add a provider that handles your personal information, we will update this list.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where necessary to protect our rights, our players, or the safety of others.

Some information is public by design: your player tag, and anything a game explicitly shows to other players such as scores or leaderboard standings.

How long we keep information

We keep your account information and game data for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your email address and game data, except where we must keep records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons, or where information has already been aggregated so that it no longer identifies you. Deleted accounts cannot be restored, and your progress is gone for good.

We keep support emails for as long as we need them to handle the conversation and any follow-up.

Your choices and rights

You can:

  • ask us what information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct it;
  • change your player tag in game; and
  • ask us to delete your account and its data.

Email hq@blobversestudios.com from the address on your account and we will take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or Florida and other US state privacy laws. Contact us and we will honor the rights that apply to you. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Blobverse accounts are for people 13 and older, or 16 and older where you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under those ages. If we learn that we have, we delete the account and its information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has created an account, email hq@blobversestudios.com and we will remove it.

Security

We protect your information with measures appropriate to what we hold, including passwordless sign-in so there is no password to steal or reuse. No website, game, or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

We operate from the United States, and the providers we use may process information in the United States and elsewhere. If you use our games or website from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from those of your own.

Our website and games may link to services operated by others, such as our profiles on X and Reddit or the App Store. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email or in game.
