Terms of Service

Effective date: September 6, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Blobverse LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as Blobverse Studios ("Blobverse Studios," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of https://blobversestudios.com, our games including Blob Squad Arena, and any Blobverse account (together, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Who can use the Services

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Blobverse account, or at least 16 if you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. If you are under 18, you may only use the Services with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

Your account

Blobverse accounts are passwordless. You sign in with your email address, and we send you a one-time code and sign-in link.

You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure: anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. Sign-in codes and links are for you alone — do not share them, and do not let anyone else use your account. Tell us at hq@blobversestudios.com if you think someone else has access to your account.

Give us an email address you actually control and can still reach. If you lose access to it, we may not be able to recover your account or your progress.

You may close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, that we reasonably believe is being used to cheat, harass, or defraud, or where we are required to do so by law.

Your player tag

You choose a tag that other players can see. Keep it clean: no impersonation of other people or of us, no slurs or harassment, no sexual content involving minors, no content that infringes someone else's rights, and nothing unlawful. We may change or reclaim a tag that breaks these rules, is used to squat on a name, or that we are required to remove.

Fair play and acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • cheat, exploit bugs for advantage, or use bots, mods, or third-party software that alters gameplay;
  • harass, threaten, or abuse other players;
  • interfere with the operation or security of the Services, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to them or to another player's account;
  • buy, sell, trade, or transfer accounts, tags, or in-game items outside the Services;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the Services' source code or assets except where that restriction is prohibited by law; or
  • use the Services in violation of applicable law.

Multiplayer games only work when people play fair. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

Purchases and virtual items

Blob Squad Arena is in beta and everything in it is free. We do not sell anything today.

When the game launches it will offer in-app purchases through Apple. Apple will handle those payments under its own terms and refund policies; we will not process payments and will not be able to issue refunds for Apple purchases, so refund requests will go to Apple. We will update these Terms before we start selling anything, and again if we add other payment methods or storefronts.

Any virtual items, currency, or unlocks you obtain — whether bought or earned in beta — are a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use them within our games. They are not your property, have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and cannot be sold or transferred outside the Services. We may change, rebalance, or retire virtual items as our games evolve, and access to them ends if your account is closed or the game is discontinued.

Beta, and games that change

Blob Squad Arena is in beta. Beta software is unfinished: expect bugs, downtime, balance changes, and features that appear and disappear. We may reset accounts, progress, or leaderboards during beta, and we will not be able to restore what a reset removes.

More generally, our games are live products. We add, change, and remove features, adjust balance, run limited-time events, and take servers down for maintenance. We may also stop offering a game or the Services entirely. We will try to give reasonable notice of a shutdown, but we do not promise that any feature, item, or game will remain available.

Our content

The Blobverse Studios and Blob Squad Arena names and logos, and the artwork, characters, audio, code, and written content in the Services, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may capture and share screenshots, video, and streams of our games, including on monetized channels, as long as you do not claim the games as your own work, do not imply we endorse or sponsor you without our written agreement, and do not use our content in a way that is unlawful or that would harm other players. Beyond that, you may not copy, distribute, or make derivative works from our content without our permission.

The license for this website's source code is a separate matter and is documented in the repository, not in these Terms.

Content you submit

If you send us feedback, bug reports, or suggestions, we may use them to improve our games without any obligation or payment to you. Please do not send us ideas you expect to be kept confidential or paid for.

Third-party services

The Services link to and rely on services operated by others, such as the App Store and our social profiles. We do not control them, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that matches will always be available, or that game data will never be lost. Please do not treat our servers as the only copy of anything you care about.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blobverse LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost virtual items, arising out of or relating to the Services.

Our total liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or twenty-five US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access as described above. When your account ends, your license to use the Services and any virtual items ends with it. The sections on our content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction — unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere, in which case that law applies.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as our games and the Services change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email or in game. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
